Beer and science! What could possibly be better? Get ready to raise your glasses and expand your minds at the annual Pint of Science festival! From May 18th to 20th, 2026, you can mingle with scientists and enthusiasts while enjoying a pint (or 500ml, if you're in Croatia) at some of the best spots in Rijeka.

Engaging Talks and Q&A Sessions

This unique event takes place in over 500 cities worldwide, including Rijeka and Zagreb, where scientists will present their latest research in a way that everyone can comprehend. Each talk lasts about 10-15 minutes, followed by an interactive Q&A session. This means you can dive deeper into the topics that spark your curiosity. The speakers in Rijeka include some fantastic names like Saša Zelenika, Toni Todorovski, and Marko Šestan, not to mention yours truly!

Experience Science Like Never Before!

Join us for an enlightening experience as we blur the lines between bar conversations and scientific discussions! In Rijeka, we’ll be gathering at three different venues: ‘Dnevni Boravak’ on Monday, ‘Caffe Tor’ on Tuesday, and ‘Klub Palach’ on Wednesday. So, whether you prefer a cozy lounge or a trendy café, there’s a place for everyone to come together and enjoy not just tasty beverages but also fascinating insights into the world of science.
