The 2026 FEBS Summerschool on Immunometabolism

The University of Rijeka, faculty of medicine is thrilled to announce the first details of our upcoming Summerschool dedicated to the exciting field of immunometabolism. Taking place from October 18-22, 2026, on the stunning island of Lošinj, Croatia, this event promises to be an intellectual retreat that combines intensive learning with the incredible natural beauty of the Adriatic coast.

This Summerschool is designed for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who have a keen interest in the interplay between immune cells and metabolic processes. If you are passionate about understanding how these systems converge within various tissues, you will greatly benefit from our program. The coursework will explore key topics and emerging research in immunometabolism and tissue biology in context of homeostasis and disease

Participants can look forward to a diverse lineup of outstanding speakers, including leading researchers in the field of immunometabolism. Our intended schedule includes in-depth lectures, engaging discussions, and workshops aimed at fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.
